Welcome to my webside, my name is Paula Bakker and I am an artist with a keen eye for detail.

Ever since I was a child has the fascination for flowering trees, animals and urban atmospheres been stronger than school. As a young adult, I began to explore my artistic path, with a intuitive view of the world.
In my work I combine watercolour, gouache, fineliner and sometimes digital techniques. These result in impressionistic images full of life – insects, animals, buildings and blooming landscapes.

I live in the countryside near the beautifull cities of Strängnäs and Mariefred in Sweden. And it shows in my work how much my surroundings inspire me.
